What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. It can significantly improve the appearance of wrinkles, stretch marks, cellulite and depressed scars (including acne scars on any part of the body.
A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin. Results can include improved skin texture and firmness, as well as a reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
How does Microneedling Work?
Microneedling involves the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purposes of rejuvenation. The punctures are like pin-pricks that enter only skin deep. These micro injuries trigger the skins natural healing process, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Which in turn enhances the elasticity and structure of the skin as well as improving its appearance. Wrinkles, fine lines and enlarged pores are reduced and the complexion is more radiant overall. Microneedling also facilitates the enhanced absorption of topical skincare products, permitting them to penetrate the deeper layers of skin resulting in more effective results.
How is Microneedling performed?

The treatment area can appear slightly red for a few days post treatment. Other possible side effects include mild bruising and swelling. Clients usually resume normal activity the same day of treatment. Regular use of SPF50 is strongly recommended.
Microneedling is not suitable in the following situations:
