The French lift is a minimally invasive mini face lift procedure that uses sutures made of propylene, a biocompatible material used in in a variety of surgical procedures.
A French lift is suitable for both men and women who wish to address moderate mid face sagging, jowls and creasing from the nose to the lips (nasolabial folds).
The inserted sutures hold underlying facial tissue in a loop resulting in a gentle, uplifting tension which subtly elevates sagging cheeks, nasolabial folds and jowls.
This, minimally invasive, non-surgical facelift procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. A long needle with a hook insert is used to make discreet incisions in the side of the head. The sutures are then carefully inserted through these small incisions and are effectively concealed by the hairline. The procedure takes approximately half an hour to perform.
It typically takes between seven to ten days for the bruising and swelling to subside.
Results can last up to five years.
French lift can safely be combined with other non-surgical cosmetic procedures to achieve the desired result.
